This film is hard. No lie. I've had 4 breakdowns this week and have a feeling that I have a few more to go. For some reason, all the extras (all the people you see in a film that do not talk) all seem to be big folks. And tall. Not great for a period film. I keep yelling out of the trailer to a sea of bodies-- "Is anyone a 42 Regular suit?
Radio silence.
Oh well. But, it doesn't stop with them. Some of my fabulous Italian actors have me searching for really big and I am trying to give them something interesting and period to wear. One of my characters is a garbage man from the 1960's and 70's and he has fallen in love with a few coveralls I found. Unfortunately, they were not quite tall and roomy enough.
So . . . I found this coverall that I am going to dye green the shade the actor and I like and distress it down and make it look "real". Keep in mind the pole it is hanging on is at least 6 foot high.
