The Sketchbook Project: 2011 » Art House Co-op | We build art projects and communities

I always regret that I don't use my drawing skills more- especially when I have to go into hyper drive to do costume plates for a film. So, I thought participating in this might be fun and good exercise. Remember, if you don't use it, you lose it.

The Sketchbook Project: 2011

  1. I'm doing the Art House Sketchbook Project this year and using it as I would my regular sketchbook- which is by recording ideas for my tin work. I've seen what other artists are doing and it's more like they are creating little books with full blown artworks. Yikes! Maybe I miss-understood the idea of the project.

  2. Well, maybe for this particular sketchbook, you conform your tin work to the theme. It might open up new ideas with a centering idea in mind. Remember, when it comes to art-- there is no wrong. The important thing is to create.

My theme is "Make mine a double" which I plan on taking with me when I show up at one of my local wine bars. Wino bars as we call them ;).
