Friday night we got a little rain. Then, in a very short amount of time-- we gotta a lot of rain. By the time the producers called an emergency wrap, the crew parking was filled with waves. I had to wade to my car in thigh high water and jumped in the car before it could flow inside too much. When I went back the next night for reshoots, it looked like this.
OMG, that's crazy! I was there yesterday and you wouldn't even have been able to tell that all that water was there over the weekend!
ReplyDeleteI had a blast on set, even though they didn't use us lady extras. I was the one that had that crazy Amy Winehouse wig on earlier in the day. It was a pleasure to meet you! And, because of that wig, Jason Butler Harner actually stopped to talk with me about why they took it off. He is one of my favorite actors, so that was definitely the highlight of my day. Wish I would have been able to get a picture with him, though, which is my only regret.
I hope the next time the company is in town to shoot something I will be able to have the chance to be on the crew!
