Yesterday, I had to say goodbye to a companion of fourteen years. My little cat Godiva needed to move on yesterday when her little body just wouldn't work anymore. I will miss her. She has been in my life since my third year of graduate school and had spent many a late night with me as I finished drawing and painting my designs or sewing costumes all night. Many times, she would sit behind my sewing machine and "help" the fabric move a bit faster. My little assistant will be missed dearly.
We all will miss Lady G. I love when she would climb on your shoulders and rub her face against your head.
