Another FWK poster

How ironic life can be sometimes.  I guess I know which two I'm picking.  How about you?

FWK poster

I have to admit I take great pleasure in seeing my name on movie posters.  Somehow, it takes the sting out of all the bad days on set and makes me proud that I've got another one under my belt.

If you squint, you can see my name in the middle.

'Friends with Kids' - Official Trailer (2012 ) [HD]

Ok 2012, here we go. It's the official release of one of the films I designed last year. I haven't seen it yet, but it looks promising and it's a great story. I've always described it as a modern, cautionary tale, but it does make one think.

Paparazzied

No one on set likes them, but sometimes it gives me a glimpse of what I'm doing.  I get a little chuckle when they mention that the stars are in something less glamorous than a red carpet.  You should see how they look most of the time.

Anyway . . .  this is a nice assortment from Parker.  Jennifer as a Palm Beach Real Estate agent and Jason as a master thief posing as a rich Texan.  My director, Taylor Hackford, always wears red when he's working.  See, everyone's got their thing.

Friends With Kids Premiere

I've been so busy on Parker-- I almost forgot that Friends With Kids has it's premiere last night at the Toronto Film Festival.  I'd heard from Josh (one of the producers) that it was really good, but to be honest I've been so wrapped up in this film I haven't been able to think much about it.

But, here's the review in the New York Times and a few images.  They like!

Parker

The countdown has begun- time to go back to work.  I'm starting soon on a movie called Parker with action star Jason Statham.  It's with director Taylor Hackford who I did Love Ranch with and I'm pretty excited.  Action films are a new genre for me and for Taylor so I'm hoping we can bring in some new elements.

It's an adaptation of a Donald Westlake novel that was last redone as Payback with Mel Gibson.  This one, while still noir, has more of a Midwest and Florida setting.
